Term4 maths knowledge.

This term one of the skills I have worked on is my divided by twos. Something I have learned was my 10 times table. Something I need to work on is my 9 times tables.

Term4 reading.

My favourite part in reading with Mrs Wilburn is the nervous system because it is interesting.

My favourite thing in reading hive is QR Reader because you can read different books.

On Friday we tested 3 smoothie  flavours. Here is our group test sheet.

 

The flavour that worked well was cherry’s raspberry’s yoghurt and milk because it was smooth.

We went to the mtg to learn more about cubism. 

Something I really enjoyed was making the cubism.

In my maths knowledge I am in the stage five group. Something I can work on is my divided by 2s. Something I am good at is divided by 5s.

Cross country

Cross country 

On Wednesday the sixth of September. At Farndon park we did we did cross country. I came 9th. Before we started we did warm up.

First the eight year old girls went. Ready set bang off they went. Second went the eight year old boys ready set go -  off they went . Third the nine year old girls went. Slap off they went . Then it was the nine year old boys -  ready set Go! I leaped out of sight

I heard cheering in the crowd. I smelled the sweat dripping down my face. I tasted the nerves. I thought I was getting faster.

Fractions Term 2

Something I can do confidently Is to colour each shape to match the fractions. Something I need to work on is getting the denominator and the numerator the right way around. 

Term 2 Inquiry

Something I did well was sort my facts correctly and put them under the right headings.

Something I need to work on is Editing my work for spelling, punctuation and sense.

Reading term 2 In reading this week I read the book 'wet' on the reading eggspress. I did not use the read back function. Something Iearned was that crocodiles have three eye lids. I passed all of the comprehension tests. I needed to re-read four chapters to pass.
